As part of B-Corp’s guiding principles, certified brands must regularly complete a recertification process to ensure the organization’s standards continue to be met. Baabuk has just completed this process and we’re eager to announce our official B-Corp Certification renewal. This recertification comes with overall impact score increase of over 10%, to a score of 89.6 points.

March 8 is recognized internationally as a day to celebrate women and bring attention to issues of equality and inclusion. These important conversations are happening throughout the world and we are dedicated to doing our part. We’d like to share the stories of several of the women behind the scenes at Baabuk  – the talented artisans handcrafting slippers in Nepal.

At BAABUK, 2020 was a year to do more and better of what we have always done: harvest the seeds of partnerships and collaborations, craft new products based on our community's feedback and, last but not least, tighten bonds with our partners and team members around the world; from Lausanne to Washington DC, France and Nepal to the Philippines.
